The Kids Club before and after school program at Whitmore Lake Elementary School provides a safe, positive and educationally-enriched environment for preschool through sixth graders who need care before or after school.

Location: Whitmore Lake Elementary School, 1077 Barker Rd. Whitmore Lake, MI 48189

Kids Club is open on most half days and full days to WLES students.

No School Day and Snow Day care is available through Kids Club at a combined location with our EduCare program, located at the WLPS Main Street Campus.

Care during school breaks is available through our EduCare program.

Year-Round Enrichment with EduCare

Whitmore Lake EduCare is more than just childcare, it's a Montessori-inspired, enrichment-based program designed for Preschool through 6th grade students. Located at our Main Street Campus, EduCare supports families year-round with before and after school care, full-day options on no-school days, and extended care during school breaks.

The program blends structured, play based activities with free choice opportunities that align with Montessori philosophy. Children are grouped by mixed ages, encouraging positive peer relationships and self-directed learning. Whether it's morning movement in the gym or hands-on projects inspired by the seasons, EduCare offers a safe, fun, and engaging space where students grow socially, emotionally, and academically.

EduCare is open Monday-Friday to students attending a program at the Whitmore Lake Main Street Campus.

EduCare operates on most no-school days, including snow days, unless otherwise noted.
